Safety

• Wear eye, ear and dust protection when routing—especially in MDF, hardwoods and laminates.
• Ensure the router is securely mounted to the insert plate and the plate is properly levelled in the table before use.
• Disconnect power before changing cutters, swapping collets, or adjusting depth/speed.
• Match RPM to cutter diameter and take multiple shallow passes to reduce kickback risk and improve finish quality.
• Keep hands clear of the cutter area and use guards/fences and push blocks where appropriate on a router table.
