BLADE CONTRACTOR ALUM 230 X 60 30-16 CIRCULAR SAW TCT
Features
- 230 mm diameter blade Provides cutting depth suitable for sheet material, extrusions and larger work-pieces.
- 60-tooth carbide-tipped design High tooth count gives finer finish and cleaner edges when cutting aluminium and light alloys.
- 30/20/16 mm bore configuration Multi-bore fitment making the blade compatible with different circular saw arbor sizes in your fleet.
- Contractor Series build quality Engineered for frequent use, demanding materials and real-world site environments — no compromise.
- Aluminium-specific cutting geometry Optimised for non-ferrous metals rather than just timber, reducing burrs and edge-finishing time.
Benefits
- Cleaner aluminium cuts: The 60-tooth layout and specialist geometry help reduce burrs and edge finishing time, delivering higher quality results straight off the cut.
- Reliable trade performance: Built to Contractor Series standards, this blade offers durability and consistent results on site and in the workshop.
- Tool-fleet flexibility: Multi-bore fitment (30/20/16 mm) means you can use one blade across multiple saws without needing to stock different sizes.
- Time- and cost-saving: Better initial cut quality means less follow-up sanding or edge-clean-up, helping you work more efficiently.
Extra Information
- Ideal for aluminium joiners, trim installers, fabricators, shop-fitters and professionals working with non-ferrous sheet, extrusions and profiles.
- Recommended for aluminium, light alloys and trim work — not designed for primary heavy-duty hardwood ripping applications.
- Ensure your circular saw is rated for 230 mm diameter blades and that the arbor size matches one of the 30, 20 or 16 mm options before use.
- To extend blade life: clear out aluminium swarf and oxide build-up after each use, avoid forced feed, maintain correct saw base-plate and fence alignment, and store the blade safely when not in service.
Pro Tip
- When cutting aluminium sheets or extrusions, clamp the work securely and use a sacrificial backing board beneath the cut-through edge to support it. Feed at a steady, moderate pace — this Contractor Series 60-tooth blade will give crisp edges and minimise costly edge-finishing operations.

Safety
- Wear eye, ear and metal-chip / oxide-dust protection when cutting aluminium to guard against flying chips, oxide particles and noise.
- Disconnect the saw from its power source before fitting, adjusting or removing the blade.
- Ensure the blade is mounted correctly: check that the rotation arrow matches the saw’s direction of travel and that all flanges and guards and adapters are secure.
- Maintain good chip extraction or airflow — aluminium swarf and oxide build-up can accumulate and become hazardous if not cleared.
- Allow the blade to reach full speed before entering the cut and wait until it has come to a complete stop before setting the saw down or changing blades.
