The dual-line laser helps mark the cutting width clearly, making it easier to cut on the correct side of the line.
The special cutting position expands the cutting depth from 88 mm up to a maximum of 120 mm for suitable upright material.
The supplied SM-KS bevel is useful for measuring interior and exterior corners and transferring the angle directly to the saw.
The saw is compatible with Festool dust extraction systems through the 27/36 mm extraction connection.
For improved support of long workpieces, the saw can be paired with suitable Festool underframes, work tables and extension accessories.

Pro Tips

Use the dual-line laser to check the left and right edge of the cut before lowering the saw head.
For skirting and cornice work, use the supplied bevel to capture wall angles accurately and transfer them to the saw.
Use a suitable Festool saw blade for the material being cut to reduce tear-out and improve the finish.
Connect dust extraction whenever possible, especially when cutting indoors or working with coated boards.
Support long boards properly with extension supports or a suitable work table to prevent dipping during the cut.
Let the blade reach full speed before entering the material, then cut with a smooth and controlled movement.

How to Use

Place the saw on a stable, level work surface or suitable Festool stand.
Connect a suitable dust extractor to the 27/36 mm extraction connection.
Select the correct saw blade for the material and make sure it is fitted securely.
Set the required mitre angle, bevel angle or special cutting position for the job.
Use the supplied bevel when transferring internal or external corner angles.
Position the workpiece firmly against the fence and align the cut using the dual-line laser.
Clamp or hold the workpiece securely before cutting.
Start the saw and allow the blade to reach full speed before entering the material.
Cut with a steady, controlled motion and keep hands safely away from the blade path.
Allow the blade to stop completely before lifting the saw head fully or removing offcuts.
