The KS 120 REB-Set-UG is supplied as a set with the UG-KAPEX KS 120 underframe and KA-UG-KS 120-R/L trimming attachments.
The underframe helps turn the saw into a mobile sawing station for longer workpieces and site work.
The trimming attachment allows a trimming length of up to 2,40 m when used with the underframe setup.
The dual-line laser helps show the cutting width, making it easier to line up the workpiece accurately before cutting.
The special cutting position allows upright cutting of strip material up to 120 mm.
The supplied bevel is useful for measuring interior and exterior corners and transferring those angles to the saw.
For best results, connect the saw to a suitable Festool dust extractor using the correct 27/36 mm extraction connection.

Pro Tips

Use the dual-line laser to check both sides of the cut before lowering the blade. This helps avoid cutting on the wrong side of the mark.
For skirting and cornice work, use the bevel to capture the wall angle, then transfer it directly to the saw for faster setup.
Support long boards properly with the trimming attachments to prevent the material from dipping during the cut.

How to Use

Set up the UG-KAPEX underframe on a stable, level surface.
Mount and secure the KS 120 REB KAPEX saw correctly on the underframe.
Fit the trimming attachments when working with longer boards, mouldings or timber lengths.
Connect a suitable dust extractor to the 27/36 mm extraction connection.
Select the correct mitre angle, bevel angle or special cutting position for the application.
Use the dual-line laser and workpiece stop to align the cut accurately.
Clamp or hold the workpiece securely before cutting.
Start the saw and allow the blade to reach full speed before entering the material.
Cut with a controlled, steady motion and allow the blade to stop before lifting it fully away from the workpiece.
After use, clean the saw area, fold down the mobile station if required and secure the machine for transport.
