Extra Information
- The TCAG0230 angle grinder is designed for 230mm discs and blades, with a maximum speed of 6600rpm and standard M14 spindle.
- The DB3 segmented diamond blade is a 230mm professional-series blade with a 22.23mm arbor for concrete, brick, blocks and general masonry.
- Adjust the safety guard so that sparks and debris are directed away from you and any nearby surfaces.
- Ideal for cutting chase lines, doorway openings, pavers, lintels, slabs and other masonry elements on site or in the workshop.
Pro Tip
- When dry-cutting masonry, make a shallow scoring pass first, then deepen the cut in one or two further passes. This reduces dust, helps keep the blade cooler and straighter, and gives a neater edge on concrete and pavers. Allow the blade to free-spin for a moment between passes to cool it down.

Safety
- Wear eye, ear, hand and respiratory protection when cutting masonry – diamond blades generate dust and debris.
- Always use the safety guard and ensure it is correctly positioned between you and the blade.
- Check that the DB3 diamond blade is rated for 230mm and 6600rpm or higher before use and mount it with the arrow matching the grinder’s rotation.
- Hold the grinder firmly with both hands and maintain a stable stance; do not overreach when cutting walls or floors.
- Do not side-load the blade or twist in the cut. Let the grinder reach full speed before touching the work and use steady, controlled feed pressure.
- Be aware of sparks and dust – keep flammable materials clear of the work area and follow local regulations for dust control.
