ROTEX rotary motion is best for coarse sanding and high material removal.
Pure eccentric motion is best for fine sanding and smooth surface finishing.

Pro Tips

Use ROTEX mode for heavy removal, then switch to eccentric mode before the final finishing grits.
Use the RO 125 when a 150 mm ROTEX is too large or aggressive for the work area.
Fit the Protector when sanding near edges, frames, skirting, corners or adjoining finished surfaces.
Connect a Festool dust extractor to improve abrasive life, surface visibility and dust control.
Do not press too hard. Let the pad, abrasive and ROTEX motion do the work for a cleaner finish.

How to Use

Fit the correct 125 mm sanding or polishing pad using the FastFix system.
Attach the required StickFix abrasive disc, polishing pad or accessory.
Connect the plug it-cable securely to the machine.
Connect a suitable Festool dust extractor when sanding.
Select ROTEX rotary motion for coarse sanding and fast material removal.
Select eccentric motion for fine sanding and smoother surface finishing.
Set the speed according to the material, abrasive grit and application.
Place the pad flat on the workpiece before starting the machine.
Guide the sander evenly over the surface with controlled pressure.
Allow the pad to stop before lifting the machine or placing it down.
